Our Village Hall is a valuable asset for our community providing facilities for social, educational and recreational activities for all ages.
The Hall is a registered charitable incorporated organisation (No. 1197628) and has a PPLPRS music copyright licence. The Hall is administered by trustees who are elected officers of the Hall Committee, & volunteers. The Committee meets at regular intervals throughout the year. If you would like to become a trustee, volunteer help or attend a Trustees meeting, find out when the next one is by contacting any of the trustees whose details are on the Information page. The building consists of an entrance vestibule with ladies, gents and disabled WC including baby changing facilities, a main Hall (dimensions height floor to apex 4.88m, height floor to top of wall 3m, width 9.24m, length (excluding alcove) 12.85m), a very well equipped kitchen (8.43m x 4.68m) with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The cafe area is perfect for smaller more intimate meetings. There are collapsible tables (14 large 181x61 cms and 12 smaller 120x61cms), 100 chairs and some stools. Outside is a spacious car park and grass area that accommodates tents, marquees, bouncy castles etc. Howden's Joinery Company, designed and installed a fabulous new kitchen in the Village Hall as part of their policy to put something back into the community. Private Bookings Welcome ![]() This picture is an example of how the Hall was decorated for a private party by Louise Corner who lives in Melbourne and is an events organiser. She is willing to put up black-out drapes, dress the hall or provide table decorations for a nominal charge for Melbourne residents. She can also help with catering.
