Our Village Hall is a valuable asset for our community providing facilities for social, educational and recreational activities for all ages.
The Hall is a registered charity (No. 523271) and maintains both PPL and PRS music copyright licences. The Hall is administered by volunteers who have been elected as officers of the Hall Committee. This committee meets at regular intervals throughout the year. If you would like to join the Committee, volunteer help or attend a Committee meeting, find out when the next meeting is by contacting any of the Committee members whose details you will find on the Information page.
The building consists of an entrance vestibule with ladies, gents and disabled WC, the main Hall is approximately 13 m x 10 m (42’ x 32’) and there is a very well equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The kitchen dining area (also useful for smaller more intimate meetings) measures about 8 m x 4.5 m (19’ x 15’). The Hall also has excellent supply of collapsible tables and chairs and outside is a spacious car park and grass area that accommodates tents, marquees, bouncy castles etc.
In October 2015, Howden's Joinery Company, designed and installed a fabulous new kitchen in the Village Hall as part of their policy to put something back into the community. Howden's generosity has been warmly welcomed by all hall users.
